Made in accordance to Australian Standard 1428.4, the concrete tile is hard-wearing, durable, and currently outperforms similar products on the market. Installation requires minimal disruption without having to consider excavation, cutting, or drilling. Once laid on a substrate surface, the area can be trafficable within 2hrs of installation providing weather constraints aren’t present.
Available in a variety of colours and made to Australian standard sizes 300×300 and 400×400, our TGSI’s suit any area.
Are 2MM concrete tactiles better than plastic?
Concrete tactiles are far more durable than plastic. As a building material that doesn’t burn, rust or rot, has unparalleled strength, durability and resilience over plastic, there is no maintenance at all. The product will also outlast plastic products available. Our tactile’s are fixed directly to the substrate that don’t require any further fixings.
How are 2MM tactile different to 40mm or 60mm tactiles?
The 2MM concrete tactile’s can be laid flush to an existing substrate and are more pliable than a solid concrete tactile. More environmentally friendly than the thicker concrete tactile’s.
Are 2MM concrete tactiles more expensive?
In the long run, they can save you money by not having to be replaced regularly. A plastic tactile has an average life expectancy of 12 months before it can become a hazard. Our tactile’s have proven to last beyond 15 years with no deterioration
What is the environmental impact as opposed to plastic?
To produce concrete items can be an expensive process given the energy and water that are required to produce the tactiles, however, given they are only 2MM means makes them more environmentally friendly than their plastic counterpart. With the long-lasting lifecycle of the concrete, they will not need to be replaced as often and therefore are the most environmentally friendly tactile on the market.

Public Transport Authority
Our tactile’s have been tested and trialled with PTA . We are contracted as the main supplier for tactile’s for all PTA stations.
These tiles have been installed to most train stations both locally and to country stations throughout WA. These tactile’s have been installed for the last 8 years and have outlasted all other tactiles.
WA Towns and Shires
